DRIP Stock Investing
Individual companies allow investors to invest in company stock through DRIP, or direct investment...You can google DRIP investments or look for books on this method in the bookstore and see how this is done...There are usually NO fees. The only drawback is that when you redeem your shares, you have to do this by mail. DRIP investing is very private in the sense that your investments are not held in a street name for others to short etc., and so it is very confidential. It is important for you to have record of your shares in your records in case of your death so your heirs know of this...Surprises after estates have been processed can be messy.
